Ann Grandy presented about "What's new at the Pope County Museum" at the September 11th meeting. Ann spoke about the demolition of the log building and the new construction that replaced it. She also talked about the compact storage system that was purchased and installed, using grant money. The compact storage system allows them to store more items and find items in a much more efficient manner. Ann has also been an integral player in creating a new online historical database, open for the public to use. This database is called the MN Alliance of Local History Museums and can be visited here:

The Museum has a lot of exhibit building to do in the coming years; be sure to visit them! After all, "history is always changing." (Aung San Suu Kyi)
