Strive Program and Club Reminders
The Strive Program was a great success this year! The program started with ten students with seven completing the program. 5 received $100 scholarships, 1 $250 and 1 $500. The winner was Austin Pederson.
More details about the Glenwood Strive will be on the website. Special thanks to Mike Claunch for overseeing the Strive program!
As a reminder, Glenwood Rotary Club was chosen as the Non-profit/Service Club of the Year!
A luncheon will be held Thursday, May 18th at the Minnewaska House from 11:30-1:30pm.
At the next Rotary meeting (May 9), Rotarians are encouraged to bring in old jeans to donate to the local Clothes Closet.  We did this before and called it "Denim Day."

5950 Rotary District Conference “Serving Humanity, Together in Harmony”
Rotary District 5950 Conference started early in the morning with Bagpipes and ended with The River Rats Dueling Pianos late that night.
It was a fun time for all. Mary Krueger, Jeanne Kramer and Lloyd Campbell attended the conference from the Glenwood Rotary Club. The conference was a great opportunity for us to come together for fellowship and inspiration. We sharedideas, made plans and took steps to prepare for the future of Rotary. There was some work.
The breakout session covered topics ranging from Minnesota Super Bowl to what can we do to make a difference locally and internationally. The club should look forward to attending the next district conference.
